Dean Keates insists Wrexham are still a work in progress after Alex Reid’s strike gave them a 1-0 National League win at Boreham Wood. On-loan Fleetwood Town striker Reid netted from a Paul Rutherford corner just past the hour mark to make it three goals in four games.

Dean Keates admitted his disappointment as Wrexham’s FA Cup hopes were ended at fellow National League outfit AFC Fylde. Danny Rowe’s first-half goal was enough to give Fylde a spot in Monday’s 1st Round draw for the fourth time in five seasons.

Alex Reid has returned to the Racecourse Ground for a second loan spell with Wrexham. The Fleetwood Town striker’s initial spell lasted 55 days until the victory over Eastleigh on October 22.
